GP Appointment Data: GP practice briefingVarious datesNHS England and NHSI in partnership with NHS Digital has introduced a new set of GP appointment categories to better capture general practice workload and demand.
These new GP appointment categories will be a superset of the existing ‘slot type’ field.

PCNs are being incentivised through the Investment and Impact Fund (IIF) for this and there is some national training as below so please register here to attend a NHS Digital hosted GP Appointment Data briefing event.
It will:
• introduce recently issued DES national categorisation guidance from NHS England
• show practices how to carry out mapping to the new national standard categories
• share experiences from practices who have already completed this mapping exercise

Online Consultations – Product Supplier Engagement Event – Part 1Thursday 6th May 2021, 12:30 – 14:00This NCL event will interest anyone involved in decision making regarding Online Consultations and including those operationally involved in General Practice and PCNs.
To inform the ongoing contract and procurement review across NCL, this session will hear from the five existing Online Consultation suppliers. Each supplier will provide an introductory overview and roadmap for their system then have time for Q&A.
Practices sending GP and an admin / managerial person to both webinars, can claim £375 backfill in exchange for live attendance, registration and completion of feedback process and sharing the learning.

The courses are free of charge to all our member practices and will include cover a comprehensive range of women’s health topics including gynaecology, obstetrics, sexual health, menopause and contraception.
